Method and device for the control of an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
April 3, 2002
The method involves measuring engine combustion air pressure with an induction pipe pressure sensor and passing a sensor signal corresponding to instantaneous pressure to a controller, which derives a control signal the air-fuel mixture fed to the engine. The gradient of the induction pipe sensor actual characteristic is detected, a deviation from a desired characteristic is determined and a correction value derived for the pressure sensor signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for regulating an internal combustion engine.
