The backrest consists of a metal shell (3) with padding (4) and covering (5). The padding is fastened to the shell via holder elements (6). Each element has a foot locking into an aperture (8) in the shell, and a hook engaging into the padding. The covering is coupled to the holder elements via a connector (10). The fastening foot has two elastic expander legs and an abutment opposite to the free ends of the legs. The connector consists of a non-woven thread (28) with injection-molded holder profile (30) of plastic.
