The device has a system bearer (2) on which a window raiser unit containing window pane guide elements (3,4), an electrical drive unit (10) with an attached housing (11) for control electronics and motion transfer elements (5,6) for raising and lowering the window pane is mounted. Part of the housing for the control electronics is formed by the system bearer.
