Symmetric motor for wiper elements

The drive has a drive motor enclosed by a housing (2,3) with an associated gearbox whose output shaft (5) drives wiper components, a connection point on the housing for control and regulation electronics and for connecting to an on-board electrical system of a vehicle and a position sensor. The output shaft is coaxial to the motor shaft of a rotation symmetrical motor and gearbox unit (1) or the axis of symmetry of the unit lies in a mirror plane.
