Heater with PTC element, particulary for a motor vehicle

The additional heater (1) with an insulated plastics frame (7), for an automobile, has at least one positive temperature coefficient (PTC) element (2) between two contact plates (3,4) for the electrical connection. At least one contact plate has an offset section (10) outside the frame parallel to the remaining section (11) of the plate. The frame has spacers (12) between the contact plates.
