Method for cleaning vehicle windows

The headlamp disc cleaning device has a jet (2) used for spraying a cleaning medium onto the surface of the headlamp disc (12), supported by a carrier element of a setting device, for relative movement at a distance from the surface of the headlamp disc. The jet is moved relative to the housing of the setting device supporting the carrier element, for sequential cleaning of adjacent partial areas (17,17',17'') of the headlamp disc, dependent on the position of the carrier element. An Independent claim for an automobile headlamp disc cleaning method is also included.
