Method for decoding lineshaped geographical objects
DRIVE
August 8, 2001
The method involves using a database containing a traffic network with linear objects, forming sets of points for an object to be decoded and objects in the network, determining the number of points within a defined range of at least one point in a second set for several relative first set positions and decoding the object at the relative position at which the number is greatest by outputting the part of the network correlated with the object. .
