The vehicle rood has an operating mechanism (9) in the form of a four-link chain, with a baseplate (10) connected to the material holding hoop. Two levers (13, 14) are pivoted to this baseplate. Both these levers pass through a top dead center point in the course of moving between the closed position and the storage position.
