Folding soft top for convertible vehicle

The folding roof (1) has a side folding rod system with pairs of rod arms forming four-link chains. the connector between these two chains is in the form of a rearward guide arm (7) of the front four-link chain and a front main guide rod (8) of the rear four-link chain with a height clearance (H). The pivot carrier (6) here supports two pivot points (A, B). A front arm (9) connects up the third pivot point (C).
