Convertible vehicle roof

The invention relates to a convertible vehicle roof with a front roof element (3) and a rear rear element (4), wherein the roof element (3) is pivotably mounted on the body by means of a lever device (11, 12) and the rear element (4) is pivotable over the front roof element (3) and can be lowered together with it into a rearward storage space (6), wherein the rear element (4) is pivotably mounted on the roof element (3) and/or the lever device (11, 12). Preferably, when the vehicle roof (1) is closed, the lever device or the levers (11, 12) of the roof element (3) are arranged substantially vertically at approximately the region of a lateral front edge (15) of the rear element (4).
