The fuel supply rail (2) is directly fastened to the cylinder head (1) via a sealing bracket (4), sealing the ends of a pressure tube (6), and a screw (3) fastening the brackets to the cylinder head. Rail and screw form a modular unit, e.g. a forged part. A flow limiter (7) is located between rail and pressure tube, and is screwed with a thread (8) into the rail, while it is sealed via a conical seat relative to the tube.
