Electromechanical brake system

Electromechanical braking installation includes a number of electromechanical brakes, to each one of which are allocated two or more independent power supplies (6,7). Parallel power semi-conductors (S11,S12) replace a power switch. Split field coils for electric motors are subdivided according to the number of independent power supplies. Each part of a split field coil can connect to each one of the power supplies.
