Power supply for vehicles
DRIVE
June 6, 2001
The supply has an accumulator (12) and a distributor with an accumulator pole input (14) and several outputs (16) providing the accumulator voltage for various loads. A semiconducting switch (18) between the input and at least one output (16a) is driven by an electronic control unit (22) with an input interface for sensor signals representing operating parameters. One output can be pulse width modulated by driving the semiconducting switch.
