Windows Desktop App v1.2026.133.0 - Login button unresponsive, chats blank, browser works

The same problem:
ChatGPT Desktop App (Microsoft Store) Version 1.2026.133.0
Problem:
Since updating to version 1.2026.133.0, the Windows desktop app is unusable.
Observed behavior:
The app starts normally.
The interface briefly appears in German, then switches to English.
The chat area remains completely blank.
Entered prompts disappear immediately.
No responses are displayed.
The Log In button does not respond.
Plans and Prices is the only clickable button.
No errors appear in Windows Event Viewer.
Troubleshooting already performed:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the Microsoft Store.
Reset the app.
Deleted local app data.
Rebooted Windows.
Disabled antivirus.
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is installed.
ChatGPT works normally in the browser.
Additional information:
The exact same issue occurs on a second independent Windows PC after updating to the same app version.
The desktop app was working correctly 3–4 days earlier.
The issue has been reproduced on two different Windows computers.
