Windows desktop app's sidebar icons vanish, conversations empty, and login button does nothing after logout (browser works fine)

ChatGPT Desktop App: 1.2026.133.0 (Microsoft Store)
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime installed
Issue After updating to version 1.2026.133.0:
Login and Sign Up buttons do not respond.
Existing conversations do not open.
New prompts can be entered, but no response is rendered.
Browser version works normally on the same machine.
Troubleshooting already performed
Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
Cleared LocalCache, LocalState, and TempState.
Verified WebView2 installation.
Ran
sfc /scannow(corrupted files repaired).Ran
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthsuccessfully.Restarted the PC.
Other desktop applications work normally.
This appears to be a regression specific to ChatGPT Desktop App version 1.2026.133.0.
I can reproduce this issue consistently on Windows 10 Pro 22H2. Browser works normally. SFC and DISM completed successfully, WebView2 is installed, and reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue.
