Pale Moon forum - Forum index [Unofficial] June 9, 2026
Source

Hello,

I often use Ctrl-H / right-click / "Forget About This Site" and noticed this. If I visit both:

CODE:

https://www.palemoon.org/https://forum.palemoon.org/

then change a default permission, for example Load Images → Block, for:

CODE:

www.palemoon.org

and then right-click a History entry for:

CODE:

forum.palemoon.org

and choose “Forget About This Site”, the forum entry is removed, but the main-site entry:

CODE:

www.palemoon.org

remains in both History and Permissions Manager. The reverse behaves differently: if I change a permission for:

CODE:

forum.palemoon.org

and then use “Forget About This Site” from a History entry for:

CODE:

www.palemoon.org

then both entries are removed.

Is this intended? Does the command only work on the selected host/subdomain? I'd expect “Forget About This Site” to clear all related site data. (and honestly, prefer it)
