Allahabad HC Questions UP Police on Withholding Arms Licence Details of Influential Individuals

The Allahabad High Court has castigated the Uttar Pradesh police for allegedly concealing details of arms licences issued to influential persons, particularly those facing multiple criminal cases. The court was informed that over 10 lakh arms licences are active in the state, with 6,062 issued to individuals with two or more criminal cases.
