Summer in the West Metro is about to get a lot louder.

The City of Plymouth Parks & Recreation department, in partnership with Hello! Plymouth, has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 summer music slate at the Hilde Performance Center. This year’s calendar introduces a major evolution for the venue, balancing its beloved free community tradition with a brand-new, ticketed national festival: Hilde Amplified.

Hilde Amplified

Scheduled to transform the open-air amphitheater on July 31 and August 1 , Hilde Amplified aims to blend the high-octane energy of a stadium festival with the relaxed, blanket-on-the-grass charm of a suburban park evening.

The All-Star Main Stage Lineup

The inaugural two-day festival features a heavy mix of multi-platinum pop-rock icons and contemporary country chart-toppers:

  • Friday, July 31 (Country Night): The weekend kicks off with an all-star country roster headlined by multi-platinum artist Brett Young and CMA Award-winner Ashley McBryde. They will be joined on the lawn by hitmakers Rodney Atkins and Matt Stell.
  • Saturday, August 1 (Alternative Rock Night): Shifting gears to alternative rock, Saturday’s headliners are none other than '90s alternative legends Third Eye Blind , joined by indie-pop sensations lovelytheband , with additional acts to be announced shortly.

Single-day admissions and discounted two-day passes are officially on sale online via Etix or by phone at 800-514-3849.

Community Tourism Incentives

Stay + Play Special Offer with Hello! Plymouth: To leverage the economic footprint of the national acts, local tourism officials have rolled out a unique promotion. Visitors who book a weekend stay at any participating Plymouth hotel between July 31 and August 1 can submit their hotel receipt and concert tickets to helloplymouth@plymouthmn.gov to receive a $25 gift card to use at a local Plymouth restaurant.

The Return of Free "Hilde Nights"

For residents looking for a casual local night out that doesn’t require a ticket stub, the city's signature Hilde Nights series returns with two high-energy, free weekend dates:

  • Friday, June 12**(6:00 PM – 10:00 PM):** The free summer opener features the Mallrats , performing a high-energy set of '90s rock sing-along anthems. Contemporary blues and rock groups the Cole Allen Band and Sena Ehrhardt are scheduled to open the evening.
  • Friday, July 17**(6:00 PM – 10:00 PM):** A local country-party theme takes over the stage, featuring the Kat Perkins Country Roads Band performing classic hits from Shania Twain to Garth Brooks, alongside opening sets from the Nathan Dean Band.

True to local tradition, attendees for all free Hilde Nights events are encouraged to pack lawn chairs and blankets. On-site food trucks and local beverage vendors will accept both cash and credit cards.

Music in Plymouth

Beyond these series, the community will also gather for the annual, legacy Music in Plymouth celebration on Wednesday, July 8 , ensuring the amphitheater lawn stays active all season long.

In the event of stormy weather, residents can verify event statuses and structural cancellations by calling the city's dedicated weather hotline at 763-509-5205.

Which show are you putting on your calendar this year? Are you grabbing tickets for Third Eye Blind, or packing your lawn chairs for the free '90s rock night?
