ATLANTA REGIONAL — James Ramsey turned to Tate McKee in the 1st to try and finish this game, and he just didn’t have enough. Oklahoma tied the game in the 9th and forced it to extras. This was after McKee threw 104 pitches on Saturday, and look, he’s probably the best option out in the pen, and he’s your guy; if he wants the ball, you have to give it to him. Just a changeup left up did him in against Tockey in the 10th, and sometimes the move just doesn’t work out. This was Georgia Tech’s question mark throughout the season: did they have enough pitching when it mattered? The answer ultimately was no, and the top 2 National seeds are now out.
