💣💣 Myles Bailey, 1B Florida State (Atlantic Coast)

3-for-3, 2 HR, 2 R, 4 RBI, 2 BB

As he tends to do, Myles Bailey turned today into a HR derby, with two opposite-field home runs, including a second one that left the bat at 108 MPH, and travelled 428’. Bailey hasn’t put up the HR totals to compete with Cuvet and the rest of the HR leaders, but that isn’t what he needs to prove coming into this year. Bailey put up 19 HRs as a Fr, but his inability to limit whiffs was incredibly concerning, with a 43% whiff rate.

While it’s early to discern if he has made a credible leap in bat-to-ball ability, his BB/K ratio has leaped .42 to 1.2 thus far. Improving that rate was something that I noted could unlock a huge jump in Draft Stock in the preseason. We ranked him 60th in our latest 2026 MLB Draft College Top 100 Rankings. This is his second sheet appearance.

Brylan West, 1B Miami (FL) (Atlantic Coast)

3-for-5, 2B, 3 RBI

West knocked in the Canes’ first run of the day with an opposite-field single in the first, and then gave Miami the lead in the ninth with a 2-run double that flew to the CF warning track on the fly. West grad transferred in from FIU for a Senior, age 24-season, and it has been more of the same entering today’s game with a .429 AVG & 1.165 OPS.
