College Daily Sheet: Nothing 'Mid' About It 2/18/26 (Midweek)

Prospects Live February 20, 2026
Source

Atlantic Coast

Covered by: Quinn Martin

Drew Lanphere, C North Carolina State (Atlantic Coast)

2-for-2, HR, 2B, R, 4 RBI, BB

Lanphere is finally getting his shot in his Rs. Jr. season after backing up great catchers in Jacob Cozart and Alex Sosa. He is making the most of the opportunity gathering 3 XBH over his first 3 games. He took a low and in FB in the honey-hole and deposited it way over the RF wall. There's big raw power in the lefty's 5'10 frame and NC State continues to produce in the catching department.

Evan Jones, RHP Wake Forest (Atlantic Coast)

1.2 IP, H, 3 K

Jones came out of the 'pen for Wake in their midweek and I had to shout him out for his nasty stuff. He flashed a near elite sweeper at 87mph with diabolical movement to pair with a high 90s FB. Wake Forest's pitching lab continues to be unmatched and everyone should keep an eye on the Freshman over the next 3 years. Whether he sticks as a reliever or transitions to a SP, Wake has another premium arm.
