Crafting in Subnautica 2 spans hundreds of recipes split across the Fabricator, Processor, Habitat Builder, and Vehicle Fabricator. Knowing exact ingredient costs before you dive saves trips back to base and prevents wasted oxygen on the wrong resource node.

Basic materials
These intermediate components feed almost every other recipe. Fiber Mesh, Rubber, and Glass are the bottlenecks for most early progression.

Tools

Equipment and oxygen tanks
Air tanks chain into each other, so don't recycle older versions until the upgrade is built. The Ultra High Capacity Air Tank consumes a complete High Capacity Air Tank plus deep-zone minerals.

If a recipe doesn't appear in your Fabricator menu, the blueprint hasn't been unlocked yet. Equip the Scanner and search wrecked colony habitats, sunken equipment, and lit underwater structures, then return to the matching crafting station once the recipe registers.
