The Pacific Maritime Heritage Center is celebrating the U.S.'s 250th anniversary with three exhibits -- one from the Oregon Historical Society about Oregon after World War II, an exhibit detailing the 60 years of the sister city friendship between Newport and Mombetsu, Japan, and a third explaining the waves of immigration to the Oregon coast.
