Thompson Sanitary officially opens its staffed, indoor recycling center in Newport

Thompson’s Sanitary Service has officially opened its new, improved and indoor recycling center in Newport after a short dedication event Friday. The new depot is staffed by an attendant and is next to the Thompson office at 7450 N.E. Avery St. It started operating in January when it replaced the old, mostly unsheltered, unattended recycling drop off. Click on the photo or headline for more information.
