For dog lovers this museum in Cape Town is an absolute must. Downstairs features legendary local dogs with pictures, statues and info panels, but the real treat is the upstairs floor. Dog owners have contributed amusing and sometimes heartbreaking stories about their pets and donated precious objects that remind them of their dogs. In some ways it’s reminiscent of the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb. Plan to spend about an hour to read every story and visit the small gift shop downstairs.
