CedarDB Jumping on the Yugabyte (Lack of) Ethics Train

I'll keep it short. The takeaway seems to be that our competitors can't keep up with the performance improvements we've made over the past 18 months, and so benchmark against 3+ year old versions of CockroachDB hoping no one will notice. Yugabyte's done this before, this time it's CedarDB publishing performance results in April of 2026 using CockroachDB version 23.2 (it's in the readme on Github). CedarDB doesn't really come up much as a competitor, so maybe they're just looking for attention?
