Pokémon Champions Coming to Switch and Switch 2 on April 8
A new blog post shared by The Pokémon Company has clarified the release date for Pokémon Champions. The developers announced a Starter Pack bundle that includes increased Pokémon storage space, extra battle music, and more. Additionally, the Switch 2 version will receive a special update that enhances the game's visuals.
As you know, Pokémon Champions allows players to battle other players using creatures they have collected from previous games via Pokémon Home. New Mega evolutions such as Mega Meganium, Mega Emboar, and Mega Feraligatr will also appear in the game.
These three Mega Pokémon are equipped with special abilities. Mega Meganium has the 'Mega Sol' ability, which uses the weather as if it were sunny. Mega Emboar comes with 'Mold Breaker,' which is unaffected by the opponent's abilities. Finally, Mega Feraligatr draws attention with its 'Dragonize' ability, which converts Normal-type attacks into Dragon-type and increases their power by 20%.
