Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era Release Date Announced

The legend awaited by strategy enthusiasts since it was announced is returning. Publisher Hooded Horse and developer Unfrozen have announced that Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, the latest installment in a 30-year legacy, will enter Early Access on April 30.

The game, which we were excited about with the previous Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era announcement, serves as a prequel to the original 1995 game in the series. The development team states that they are honored to add a new chapter to the legend of our childhood after more than 10 years since the last main game.

What Awaits Players in Early Access?

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is prepared to offer players a very rich content even during the early access process. Here are the features awaiting us on April 30:

• Six Unique Factions: Temple, Dungeon, Schism, Grove, Necropolis and Hive.
• Tutorial Mode: In-game tutorial for beginners.
• Story Mode: The first chapter of the scenario (other chapters will be added with the full release).
• Custom Scenarios: Pre-made maps with their own stories.
• Various Game Modes: Classic, Single Hero, and Arena modes for both single-player and multiplayer.
• Competitive Structure: Matchmaking, ranked games, and leaderboards for all three modes.
• Unlimited Replayability: Random Map Generator (RMG) templates.
• Hotseat Mode: Ability to play side-by-side with your friends on the same computer.
• Challenges: Various puzzle-style challenges.
• Map Editor: An early version of the editor where you can create your own adventures.
