FC Dallas vs Seattle Sounders: Lineup notes π
FC Dallas wraps up the month of April with a big road trip to Washington, to take on the Seattle Sounders.
Lineups are in from both sides. Letβs dive into what Eric Quillβs starting group looks like, who is on the bench, and who we believe will see minutes later on in this one.
What Changed From Last Match
With this being the third game in seven days, FC Dallas manager Eric Quill has opted to go with some heavy rotations. Lalas Abubakar, Sam Sarver, Ran Binyamin and Nick Simmonds all earn their first starts of the season, with Binyamin and Simmonds earning their first MLS career starts.
Deedson also returns to the lineup on the left wing, after being on the bench Wednesday night against Minnesota.
Both Peter Musa and Logan Farrington are not in the gameday roster, as both were listed as questionable before the trip.

Who should come off the bench?
With so much rotation tonight, it should be fair to say that weβll see Joaquin Valiente, Shaq Moore, Kaick, Chris Cappis and possibly Herman Johansson off the bench in this one.
I think the bigger question will really come down to, when will Eric Quill make these swaps? Hopefully, the main starters are able to carry the load for a while.
Key Question Heading Into Kickoff
After a disappointing homestand, can FC Dallas find their form on the road?
I still believe that this team is a better road team than they are at home, so this is a game to put that theory to the test. Weβve only had two games away from home this season, one was a dominant performance in DC, while the other was a good-but-not-good-enough effort at LAFC. Seattle has been a tough place to pick up points in for Dallas, so if they want to make a leap forward, this is the time to do it.
