FC Dallas vs LAFC: Lineup notes 📝

Big D Soccer March 8, 2026
Source

FC Dallas’ first road test of the new season is here, as they take on conference leaders LAFC tonight in Southern California.

Lineups are in from both sides. Let’s dive into what Eric Quill’s starting group looks like, who is on the bench and who we believe will see minutes later on in this one.

What Changed From Last Match

Quill had a couple of changes for his lineup tonight. Joaquin Valiente and Ramiro come into the lineup, Valiente for the first time.

FC Dallas Lineup Notes:

Projected Starting XI

Formation: 3-4-3

ST Musa

ST Farrington

CAM Valiente

LWB Kamungo

CM C Ramiro

CM Cappis

RWB Johansson

LCB Ibeagha

CB Urhoghide

RCB Moore

GK Collodi

Bench

  • Erik Dyamora GK
  • Lalas Abubakar DF
  • Nolan Norris DF
  • Ran Binyamin MF
  • Deedson MF
  • Kaick MF
  • Patrickson Delgado MF
  • Ricky Louis FW
  • Sam Sarver FW

Who should come off the bench?

Can Bernie Kamungo last the full 90? That is one I’m watching out for with both Deedson and rookie Ricky Louis available. Outside of that, Delgado, Sarver and maybe Norris seem like good options.

Key Question Heading Into Kickoff

Can FC Dallas find success at BMO Stadium?

Let’s face it, FC Dallas has struggled at LAFC over the years. No wins. Nothing to come home excited by. If this team is going to contend at all this season, they have to find their road form like they did a year ago. There is no better place in the Western Conference right now to test that mentality than at BMO Stadium. A win here tonight makes a statement. A loss will just feel like more of the same.
