Scammers use South Euclid resident to purchase gold from US Mint

A resident reported March 27 that his computer had been hacked, and his banking information was compromised. He claimed that he simply went to his computer one day and saw his cursor moving with his bank account page open. He said that his account had been charged $13,000 for the purchase of a gold coin from the US Mint and $2,600 worth of gift cards were also purchased from the Mint.
