Mod Releases • Re: [MOD] Ethereal NG [1.34] [ethereal]
@Arceusl - I test all my mods on an old Acer Aspire Cloudbook with 2gb memory and dual-core 1.6ghz CPU, and they work fine... Considering the mobile device you reported to be using, I would take a guess performance being sub par for most things.
Yeah, Android devices are weird. Just saying. Plus, I'm outraged at the Charcoal fuel time: 10 Seconds per piece!? A wooden log burns for 30! I saw a Charcoal Mod for MineTest that got it right: The burn time is decent (Yet shorter per piece compared to regular Coal, which is about 40 seconds, so that Charcoal is comparable to Wood logs), and they can be compressed into a charcoal block for extra time as fuel and a convenient storage for excess charcoal. Plus, I used a Coal from Trees mod frequently, and it breaks when Ethereal is being used. Awful strange, and frustrating. Plus, I use a buildings mod, and interestingly, there is some possible compatibility between More Trees & Ethereal, so honestly that needs to be expanded to be more inclusive, but probably some things may need to be changed to accommodate the mod merging. There's so many possible tweaks that would keep compatibility high, and give players more mod options.
Plus, with older ore/stone mods around (Too Many Stones, Too Many Ores, etc...), isn't it about time we made a conglomerate of those mods to be more efficient and finally give a use for them?
