Anime Expo, 2026 Sets “Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi” Screening + Panel For July

Disney and Lucasfilm have set a screening slated for Thursday, July 2 showcasing a first look to the upcoming anime mini-series by Production I.G and Lucasfilm Animation.

Crew members Kenji Kamiyama, Shunsuke Tada, Hitoshi Ito and Lucasfilm Animation Executive Producers Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes will attend the screening. Additionaly the screening’s page has confirmed that the anime is slated to release this summer on Disney+.

“Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi” screening is part of Disney’s offerings for Anime Expo, 2026, other panel slated for the same day is the Disney Branded Television series “Dragon Striker ” having a panel on the same day.
