Jorge R. Gutiérrez (Nickelodeon Animation Studios “El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera”, Reel FX & 20th Century Animation “The Book Of Life”, Netflix Animation Studios “Maya And The Three”, “El Guapo vs. The Narco Vampires”)__ currently has a new secret animated project in development at Disney confirmed via a new interview from MEDIUM Magazine.

Now, with projects brewing at Netflix, Disney, and Warner Bros., Gutierrez is busier than ever. He navigates the industry with a simple, rock-and-roll philosophy: “Make death regret taking you.”

Gutierréz projects at Netflix Animation Studios include an adult animated feature film while his project at Warner Bros. Pictures Animation is a animated feature film adaptation of the Looney Tunes character “ Speedy Gonzales”. Other upcoming projects include the indie animated feature film La Venganza Rodríguez at HAMPA Studio and I, Chihuahua**** which recently got rescued by Snafu Pictures in February, 2026.

Gutierréz is no stranger to Disney as he and his wife Sandra Equihua worked at Disney Television Animation in the Disney Channel series “ The Buzz on Maggie ” and developed several pilots at the studio like “** Pepe The Bull”, “Carmen Got Expelled ”** and “ Juan Calavera & The Nightmare Hunters”. Gutierréz also did some recent work at the company like a couch gag on “** The Simpsons** ” for the episode “ Treehouse Of Horror XXV ” and voice-acting work on “ Big City Greens ” and “ Vampirina ”.

Gútierrez is part of the brewing Mexican talent at The Walt Disney Company, other artists include “** Victor & Valentino” creator Diego Molano with an overall development deal at20th Century Animation** for adult and family films, “ The Casagrandes ” showrunner and EP Miguel Puga as Storyboard Artist for “ The Simpsons Movie 2 ” at 20th Century Animation, Gracie Films and 20th Television Animation , “** Victor & Valentino” alumni**Isaac Gonzalez as co-creator for the 20th Television Animation series “** Swamp Meet** ” for Hulu, “ Onyx Equinox ” creatorSofia Alexander as director and storyboard artist for the Phineas And Ferb revival as well developing a new animated series for Disney Television Animation and finally “** Primos** ” creator Natasha Kline extending her overall development deal at Disney Television Animation with a second animated series for Disney Channel.
