More Episodes Of “The Muppet Show” Reboot Reportedly Being Written At The Muppets Studio And Point Grey Pictures As Potential Greenlit Order Looms.

We are one week after the debut of “The Muppet Show ” special event which has gotten universal acclaim from both fans and critics praising it as a “ funny”, “clever” and “ faithful to the original 70s series”. In terms of vieweship, the special has trended in 59 countries as the No #1 most streamed title on Disney+ and it’s ABC Network premiere garnered to a sucessful 3.03M views across the 18-49 market.

Everyone is asking the question, what’s next?. As you might know the special acts a backdoor pilot for a full reboot order at Disney+ to be one of the core shows on the streaming service. Executive Producer Seth Rogen stated “ I ’ve been working the better part of the last decade to try to bring my favorite show back… and it looks like i’m getting close” back in December 2025.
