I just told you what to do in my previous point. I did not mention installing WordPress anywhere, because that’s not what you should do.
Simply put: don’t install a new copy of WordPress if you don’t want a new copy of WordPress. If you want to move an existing site, you need to move the existing site.

Just copying (or moving) the entire htdocs directory is most straight forward.
The default index2.html file can be safely deleted on any website at any time. So no, you don’t need to move or keep it.
