As for what other steps you need to take, that depends on how your website is built, so it’s not possible to describe that in a single guide that works for every website.
But since you’ve mentioned wp-config.php, it means you’re using WordPress. For WordPress, the only thing you need to do is update the site URL: Migrating WordPress – Advanced Administration Handbook | Developer.WordPress.org
However, that’s with the caveat that some plugins may require additional steps. But again, that depends on your website.
