Setting up Cloudflare on host account?

There doesn’t exist such thing I’m afraid. You can of course try and setup some code to “block” bots. But you need to understand that a “blocked” request still consumes server resources and count towards your limits. 50,000 bots hammering your website even if you “block” them with .htaccess still lead to a suspension. Instead of messing around with .htaccess you should probably start looking into if Cloudflare has any settings that gives you better security.
