As I’ve said from the start, the album quality is genuinely excellent. Naturally, it’s the kind of album bound to do well overseas; it’s mostly domestic fans, or those who were disappointed, who are downplaying it
The pop tracks in the latter half of the album aren't typical K-pop or teen-oriented bubblegum pop; instead, they span genres like pop-rock, alternative, psychedelic, and even house EDM. Since there’s a good chance that even those who dislike K-pop might find a track or two to their liking, I think this album could shift BTS's established public image in the U.S. at least a little
