I’ve been working on creating a kids bedroom inside my Luanti world and I’m trying to figure out how to make it look cozy and playful. One thing I’m struggling with is how to use rugs effectively.

In real life, a kids bedroom rug can define a play area, add color, and make the room more comfortable. I want to replicate that feeling in my game room, but I’m not sure how to make it visually clear that a specific area is meant for play versus sleeping.

Some questions I have:

What block types or textures do you use to create the effect of a soft rug?

Do you prefer bright, playful colors or neutral patterns for a kids’ room?

Any tips on arranging furniture so the rug area feels natural in a voxel environment?
