Any tips for dealing with fungus gnats?

submitted by tuckerm to houseplants 35 points | 13 comments Some fungus gnats have showed up, and unlike what some blog posts have said, they don’t seem to be attracted to apple cider vinegar. Has anyone found a trap that gets rid of these little things? I’ve put the plants outside for now, hoping that will dry them out and make the flies fly away.
