A Washington County jury found Jordan Ray Beyer guilty of 15 counts of rape and sexual abuse May 12, more than a year after sheriff's deputies arrested the 24-year-old near Banks. The Washington County District Attorney's Office described Beyer as a "prolific sexual offender" who abused at least five female victims over several years. His assaults took place in Banks, Forest Grove and Beaverton. Beyer's abuse "followed a similar pattern with each victim," the district attorney's office said. "He used physical force and threats of harm to the victims, their families, and himself to effectuate sexual abuse. He often used his firearm to threaten the victims." Senior Deputy District Attorney Chris Lewman prosecuted the case before Judge Erik Buchér. Washington County Sheriff's Office detectives began investigating in February 2025 and interviewed multiple women who said Beyer had raped or sexually assaulted them, News in the Grove reported at the time. A grand jury indicted him on 21 counts, and deputies arrested Beyer that March during a traffic stop on Highway 26 just east of the Highway 6 interchange. Investigators believe there may be additional victims, the district attorney's office said. Anyone with information about Beyer can contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-846-2500. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 20.
