Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici will hold a series of four town hall meetings across Oregon’s First Congressional District this month, including one at Glencoe High School in Hillsboro on Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m.

Bonamici will answer questions from attendees and provide an update on her work in Congress. The district includes large portions of Washington and Multnomah counties and all of Clatsop, Tillamook, and Columbia counties.

“These are very challenging times for many, and it’s important for me to hear from the people I represent,” Bonamici said in a press release. “Town hall meetings give Oregonians an opportunity to tell me what is on their mind and to hear from me about the work I’m doing.”

Members of Bonamici’s staff will also be on hand to assist anyone experiencing problems with federal agencies, including the VA, Social Security Administration, immigration, and the IRS.

Doors will open an hour before each event. Large bags and backpacks are not permitted, and small purses must be no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Attendees who do not comply with the security requirements will not be allowed inside.

The full schedule:

  • Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m. — Glencoe High School, 2700 NW Glencoe Rd, Hillsboro
  • Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. — Scappoose High School, 33700 SE High School Way, Scappoose
