Power outages leave hundreds without power in Gales Creek, Banks area

Several power outages have left rural residents in Gales Creek and around Banks without power as ice and snow continue to impact the region. More than 300 Gales Creek and Dilley area residents lost power Wednesday night. While many were restored, dozens remained without power Thursday morning. Dozens more were without power in the Mountaindale region, Buxton and west of Banks. Portland General Electric said ice and snow were to blame for the outages.
