PEACHTREE CITY, GA — Que Delicia, a new Puerto Rican restaurant from owner Alexandra Mendoza, is preparing to open at 1980 Hwy 54 W E, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Mendoza told Business Debut the team is targeting a March 17 opening, though an exact opening date has not yet been finalized.

The restaurant is taking over a former smoothie shop space in the shopping center. Mendoza said the team has had to build out much of the kitchen and install new equipment to support the concept.

What to Expect

Que Delicia will serve Puerto Rican cuisine in a compact counter-service setting. The space will have about 15 bar-style seats available for guests dining in.

Customers will order at the counter, with additional focus on takeout and delivery. Mendoza said the restaurant also plans to work with delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Menu and Vision

The menu will highlight traditional Puerto Rican dishes including rice plates, fried pork, fried chicken, mofongo, and fried plantains.

“We sell rice, pork, fried chicken and pork, mofongo, and fried bananas too,” Mendoza told Business Debut. “It’s Puerto Rican food.”

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting a March 17 opening. An official opening date has not yet been confirmed.

Hours

Planned hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. — 8 p.m.
