Thank you, this makes a lot of sense.
I think we are looking at different layers of a potentially compatible architecture.
My current work with PCE is primarily focused on the behavioral regulation side: how a model navigates uncertainty, contradictory constraints, adversarial pressure, and competing interpretations within an open solution space.
Your DESi framework appears to address a different but equally important problem: how to maintain persistent, auditable, replayable epistemic state outside the model itself.
I find that distinction increasingly useful, and I suspect the two approaches may ultimately be more complementary than competing.
I’ll take a closer look at DESi. Thank you for sharing it and for helping clarify the architectural boundary between behavioral regulation and epistemic governance.
