Welcome to your first post @eslaughter I do not work in that domain but I must thank you for enlightening me to a term I did not know.

In physics, kinematics is the study of the motion of objects without considering the forces that cause that motion. Often described as the “geometry of motion,” it focuses on describing how an object moves rather than why it moves.

I did not know there was a separation!
