Tornado watch for 17 Michigan counties until early Wednesday morning

A tornado watch was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 8:55 p.m. EDT in effect until Wednesday at 4 a.m. EDT for Bay, Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Midland, Monroe, Oakland, Saginaw, St. Clair, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
