High wind watch affecting 20 Michigan counties Friday – gusts could peak at 60 mph

A high wind watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:45 a.m. EDT valid for Friday between 2 a.m. EDT and 8 p.m. EDT for Mason, Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta, Isabella, Muskegon, Montcalm, Gratiot, Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Clinton, Allegan, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties.
