Prince William confirms Prince George is already boarding at school
The Prince of Wales has given his biggest hint yet that his eldest son, Prince George, is preparing to fly the nest.
Speaking to Heart Breakfast from the Isles of Scilly on Friday, the future King was invited to give an on-air shout out to his children - who were listening on the school run.
Prince William said: "Charlotte and Louis, because George was boarding last night, Charlotte and Louis if you’re listening, make sure you’re on time please, make sure you’re not fighting over who listens to what, this morning."
Host Amanda Holden then asked: "Is it chaotic like most people’s school runs?"
His Royal Highness replied: "It can be it depends if there is a guitar lesson or a music lesson, you have to get the guitar in the car, no we aren’t taking the car, are we boarding, are we not, are we seeing friends, or are we not. All of that going on in the morning."

This September, Prince George is expected to start senior school, two months after his thirteenth birthday.
Like his father, grandfather and great grandfather before him, the young prince is expected to attend one of the UK's elite boarding schools.
It appears The Prince and Princess of Wales are already preparing him to spend weeks away from home - as he takes advantage of Westfield boarding house at his current school in Berkshire.
Lambrook, where the Wales children currently attend, offers weekly and flexi-boarding.
Lambrook's website states: "We have a thriving boarding community where pupils board anything from five nights a week to one night every so often."
The school says its boarding "offers a great opportunity to prepare pupils for their future schools, where 95% of our pupils go on to board. The experience and independence gained at this slightly younger age is an extremely positive and helpful stepping stone for all that awaits them at their future schools and beyond."
"All boarders, whether weekly, flexible or occasional, are fully integrated into boarding life and are part of a home from home family environment where they eat, work and to relax together – making the most of the fantastic on site facilities."
"In the summer months at Lambrook, swimming, cricket, golf and other outdoor games are played by all our boarders well into the evening. In the winter, indoor ball games, cooking and baking, movie nights, bonfire evenings and other such activities ensure that there is never a dull moment!"
Kensington Palace is expected to announce Prince William and Catherine's choice of senior school for Prince George later this summer, with Eton and Marlborough currently frontrunners.

The 'Andrew' problem is not going away for the Royal Family
Police have confirmed they are investigating possible sex crimes in their investigation into Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
The King's brother was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and released under investigation in February.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied the allegations against him.
Thames Valley Police's Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Right said: "Our misconduct in public office investigation is continuing. Misconduct in public office is a crime that can take different forms, making this a complex investigation.
"Our team of very experienced detectives are working meticulously through a significant amount of information that has come in from the public and other sources. We are committed to conducting a thorough investigation into all reasonable lines of enquiry, wherever they may lead.
"We encourage anyone with information to get in touch with us through the normal non-urgent contact channels, such as the Thames Valley Police online portal.
"I understand the high level of interest in this work, but please be patient as we continue to actively progress our investigation. We will provide further updates to the public and media when appropriate."
Buckingham Palace cannot comment, due to the risk of prejudicing any potential criminal proceedings in the future.
Royal sources suggest this position is different from "declining" to comment, so perhaps we will hear more in the future, once police investigations are complete.
However, this could take months - meaning the so-called 'Andrew problem' could continue to overshadow the public work of the Royal Family.
The King has used all the power he has to sanction his younger brother, including formally removing his Prince title and the Dukedom of York.
When Buckingham Palace announced this last October, royal sources told me His Majesty acted due to Andrew's serious lack of judgement, despite maintaining his innocence.
For the Royal Family, they are strategically keeping their distance from the disgraced former Prince.
However, this investigation is expected to last for months - regardless of the outcome.
I suspect Andrew Mountbatten Windsor will be a PR headache for some time to come for the House of Windsor.
King's joy of chocolate cake
On Thursday, I shadowed the King as he visited Co Down in Northern Ireland.
In Newtownards, we went into a kitchen of an organisation which makes leftover food into nutritious meals for those in need.
He seemed thrilled to join the head chef as she made a gluten-free chocolate cake at the volunteer-led Warehouse centre.
I was squashed in the tiny kitchen with my journalistic colleagues, facing His Majesty from the opposite side of the worktop.
He enthusiastically stirred the cake mixture and looked up at us - joking it had a "good smell" as he brought the whisk closer to his nose to sniff.
The King made a private donation to the Warehouse, and met members of the local community with Her Majesty The Queen.
